At the beginning of 2016 Finch Tree were approached by The Cumbria Wildlife Trust to help develop a suitable donation recognition plaque. The result was a pair of plaques modeled on the Birch and Oak leaf.
In September 2016, we were privileged to go and visit the site and see for ourselves the work that has been done to restore this ancient peat bog.

The trees are no match for the peat bog and they slowly fall as the area re-establishes itself.
The boardwalk makes the site accessible to all, in what would otherwise be hostile terrain.
